Chew Valley School is a thriving comprehensive serving the communities of the Chew Valley and South Bristol. With 1200 pupils including 200 in the Sixth Form, the school is both a vibrant place to be and highly successful. Examination results are very good and the vast majority of sixth formers go on to universities including Oxford and Cambridge.

Start of term arrangements
Tuesday 1st September is a training day for all staff. There will be a drop-in session at 1pm in the Library for any Year 11 or 12 students who need to discuss progression in the Sixth Form or timetable revisions.
Term begins for students in Years 7-11 and 13 on Wednesday 2nd September.
Term begins for students in Year 12 on Thursday 3rd September.
