16/06/2008 - The Chew Valley Pig

Legend has it that King Bladud’s pigs discovered the hot springs on which the city of Bath were founded. An exciting public art event this summer will see a herd of artistically decorated pigs located around the city to celebrate the legend.

The Chew Valley Pig has been sponsored by Envolve, a charity based in B&NES which seeks to promote more sustainable activities in schools, business and communities. The pig has been decorated by a dedicated team of artists from the school.

We are keeping its location secret – see if you can spot the Chew Valley Pig next time you visit Bath!
