Teacher of Physical Education
Contract Type: Full time
Contract Term: Permanent

Required, a
well qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Physical
Education capable of teaching PE throughout the school up to
Advanced Level.
This post is
restricted to men only in accordance with 7.(2)(b) of the
Sex Discrimination Act 1975. The successful candidate
should be able to deliver a broad curriculum in PE with
particular expertise in Rugby, Soccer, Cricket and
Athletics. There are popular and successful PE courses to
GCSE and ‘A’ Level.
Chew Valley
School is a successful, oversubscribed 11-18 comprehensive
of 1140 with 190 in the Sixth Form and was included in the
Ofsted list of Very Good and Excellent Schools in December
2005. The school is situated in an attractive rural area
within easy reach of Bristol and Bath. Applications from
newly qualified teachers or established teachers wanting to
consolidate experience in a second school will be welcome.
