Year 8 Rewards
Rewards assemblies (at the end of each term) that focus on the pupils that have achieved 100% attendance, completed all homework tasks, achieved academically and through extra-curricular activities. Recognition for achievement outside of school and the awarding of the inter-tutor group competition winners and the tutor group of the term trophies.
25 house points = Certificate (bronze, silver, gold, platinum etc)
3 green slips = 5 early lunch passes
10 green slips = 1 free lunch
5 commendations = Head’s Commendation
Homework raffle = £10 prize at the end of each term (for those pupils that have completed ALL home works set).
100% attendance raffle = 1 free lunch + prize
Celebration assembly – (July 2012) Certificates and prizes for achievement
Sticky buns – (July2012) awarded by the Headmaster in recognition for achievement and effort
Rewards trip – Thorpe Park 2012
A minimum of 15 pupils from each tutor group made up from:
The top 8 highest achievers (house points, commendations and green slips)
100% attendance = automatic place
The top 5 pupils (per tutor group) who have shown the greatest improvement across monitoring points (report 1 to report 2)
2 places awarded by the tutor
Any pupils with more than 5 Yellow slips will not be considered for the trip

Term 5 – Art Competition

This year each tutor group will plan and deliver their own assembly to the rest of the year group.
