Year 7 rock at Blackrock!

High ropes, archery and raft building were the order of the day as Year 7 spent a day completing outdoor activity challenges at Blackrock in Bridgwater.  The activities incorporated all the Personal Learning and Thinking Skills that have become part of tutor time and lessons this year.  The feedback from the pupils has been really positive with many of them overcoming personal fears on the ropes course or on the water.   The attitude of the whole year group was summed up by Evelyn Heath’s courage and determination when completing a tricky high ropes course.

Mr Edwards and Miss Parry were impressed with the way that all the pupils conducted themselves and approached what is essentially a working farm by showing respect and consideration.
