Playground to podium

On Friday 12^th November three Year 7 pupils, Tom Lear, Siobhan Coles and Ella Scott travelled to Bath University to take part in the Playground to Podium initiative.  Playground to Podium is a dedicated initiative designed to identify and nurture young people and adults with the potential to be elite athletes. The scheme provides increased opportunities to achieve at the top end of performance.

The pupils had the opportunity to try out a range of different activities including athletics, netball and table tennis.  The feedback from the three pupils was really positive.  Tom Lear stated “It was mint”.
