Fun Fancy Dress Tennis Tournament

On Tuesday 28^th June, pupils from years 7-9 took part in the first annual ‘Fun, Fancy Dress Tennis Tournament’. The Fancy dress efforts were varied, from Yanni Greaves’ Wimbledon whites to John McEnroe 80’s style courtesy of Julia Head and Mr Jones. The tournament was high in competitive spirit, with many fist pumps from Harry Molingham, and Maria Sharapova style grunts from Mr Jones. Tyler Wiltshire walked away with three prizes; best sportsmanship, trick shot, and all first serves in within one game! Ailsa Mackie (7A) and Mr Hill contested the final with Julia Head (9H) and Mr Jones, and after a tight contest the title was eventually won by Julia and Mr Jones. It must have been the wigs!
