Cronin adds some French flair!

French import Jack Cronin scored two tries in an outstanding 32-12 victory over Wellsway that rounded off an unbeaten league run for the Year 8 rugby team.  In what has been an impressive season the boys have played four, won four scoring 22 tries and only conceding 7.  There were convincing wins over Wellsway, Ralph Allen, Norton Hill and St Gregs with Mr Edwards using no less than 26 players including 5 boys who have played their first ever game of rugby.  The team has been excellently captained by fly half Henry Worle, scrum half Will Hosier and centre Tom Garland.  Brett Davidge and Harry Marsh have led the pack superbly whilst some French flair has been added by Jack Cronin on the wing. The victory over Wellsway was even more impressive as the team lost to them last season.  After the match, Callum O’Shea commented that the team has been inspired by Wales’ run in the World Cup.  Mr Edwards promptly made him player of the season! The team have trained well and now concentrate on the BANES cup.  Well done boys!
