Ollie Garland performs at Chew Valley!

On Thursday 2^nd February, the pupils in Year 8 were treated to an inspirational performance from up-coming artist Ollie Garland.  An attempt at secrecy saw Ollie ushered into school at 8.15 am but news of the arrival soon spread and before long there were girls from Years 7-10 trying to catch a glimpse of the popular teen singer as he rehearsed.  The talented youngster performed three songs and afterwards spoke to the pupils about his future performances including a trip to Nashville. 

The pupils were certainly impressed with the highlight being the majority of the year group singing along to a cover of Ed Sheeran’s ‘A Team’.  Year 8 are already hassling Mr Edwards to arrange another gig in the near future!
