A Jumpin' Jive Evening of Swing and Jazz

Magna Jazz is local seven piece swing band specializing in fun party jazz in the "jumpin’ jive" style of the 1950's.

The band is made up of musicians local to the Chew valley and Mendip area and is led by Ray Montague (vocals and trumpet) from Chew Magna.

Ray and Julie Thomas (tenor sax) have spent many years supporting youth jazz in the Valley and once again they will share the stage with the Chew Valley (school) Swing Band for the first half of the show before breaking into their party set later on.

You can expect a fun night of jazz blues, song and dance. See you there!
