Parent Support Advisor

Parent Support is part of the Extended Schools core offer and forms part of the Bath and North East Somerset Children and Young People’s Plan.  This work links with the aim to enable all children and young people to achieve their full potential and achieve the five outcomes of the Children’s Act. 

 

·         be healthy

·         stay safe

·         enjoy and achieve

·         make a positive contribution

·         achieve economic well-being.

 

My role as your PSA is to flexible support to families -

 

Leading to:

·         Better /more motivated pupils

·         Better attendance and behaviour

·         The removal of some of the barriers to learning.

 

You may be:

·         Concerned that family worries are having an impact on your child’s education.

·         A parent of a child with learning difficulties and may be looking for a support group to meet with parents in a similar situation.

·         Be looking for child care in the area.

·         Wishing to further your own education
